There is so much to love about Granite Gear's Crown3 60. Building off the successes of the Crown2, the Crown3 boasts all of the tested and tried features we love plus some savvy design features to cater for trails where heavier loads are unavoidable. 

New for the Crown3 is the optional add-on capability of reinforcing the frame sheet with a U-shaped aluminum stay for treks that require base weights of 15 kilograms and above (sold separately as an add on).

The new and innovative Vapor Current Mark 3 compression moulded polyethylene frame sheet has moulded reinforcement channels and die-cut holes to minimise weight without sacrificing structural integrity. The frame works in combination with the moulded foam back panel with ventilation channels to support an efficient load transfer of 15 kilograms comfortably. The frame sheet is fully removable for weight savings when the base weight of the pack doesn't call it.

Throw in a removable lid which converts into a chest pack or lumbar pack in conjunction with the hip belt, and it's winner-winner-chicken-dinner.

For ultralight loads, the frame sheet can be removed lowering the weight to 907 grams.
